MAGDA GAUVIN, DVM

Dr. Gauvin graduated from Iowa State University where she obtained her veterinary medical degree. She purchased AWVH in 2017 and has continued to provide quality care to patients large and small.  Dr. Gauvin enjoys horseback riding, spending time with her daughter, dogs, horses, cats, goats, cows and chickens.

Relief veterinarians are veterinarians that typically work at more then one veterinary hospital to provide services on an as needed basis.

PRACTICE MANAGER 

ASHLEY

​ Ashley started her rotation for college at AWVH in May of 2021, and at the end of May she joined the AWVH team permanently. Ashley has worked with a variety of animals from farm animals all the way to exotics. Ashley currently lives in Southern Maine and in her free time she enjoys riding her horse, archery, hunting, fishing, and going up to camp in Northern Maine. She grew up on a farm, but currently owns a Horse (Nevada), a Bearded Dragon (Nova), a Leopard Gecko (Rosie) and a Dog (Ruger)!​

VETERINARY TECHNICIANS

NALEAH 
​
Naleah started her first round of rotations for college back in May of 2023 at AWVH. She graduated from York County Community College in May of 2024 with a degree in Veterinary Technology and joined the AWVH team full time thereafter. She enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her two cats Milo and Lily.

VETERINARY TECHNICIAN ASSISTANT 

​DAKOTA

Dakota joined our team in early April of 2024. She enjoys spending time with her family. She also loves the outdoors and doing activities such as hunting, fishing, hiking, and camping. She has two fur babies of her own! Milo, a 12 year old Shih Tzu and Pebbles, a 2 year old Lab/Weimaraner mix! Whom she is constantly teaching new tricks to ! You may see Dakota around, cleaning and occasionally helping out the technician staff!

RECEPTIONIST

ZUZANA

Zuzana has loved and cared for animals from a very young age. She enjoys spending time with her niece, horseback riding, relaxing with her dogs, art and travel.

CLINIC CAT

ZOEY
​
She joined the team late November of 2025. Due to her being overweight and having some urinary issues she was in need of home that could specifically care for her needs. Dr Gauvin fell in love and couldn't resist adopting her! Zoey has really come out of her shell since. She is sweet, very affectionate and is a big talker! 
If you see her out and about please be mindful of her as she can be shy!
