Shock Wave Therapy

We are happy to announce we now offer Shock Wave Therapy too all of our patients. Shock Wave Therapy uses high-energy sound waves to stimulate and help speed up the body's healing process. Shock Wave Therapy uses the energy released from sound waves to help the affected areas. The energy released allows the body to reduce inflammation, increase blood flow, accelerate bone formation and enhance wound healing. The therapy is completely safe for dogs and cats of all sizes/ages and will provide comfort to a lot of our patients!

What to Expect

A PulseVet Shock Wave treatment typically takes less than 5 minutes. Depending on the disease or injury, your pet may require 1-3 treatments, 2-3 weeks apart. You may notice immediate improvement, but it is important to allow time for healing. Keep high-impact activity to a minimum in the days following the treatment.
